Spoon Making Day

Please enquire for availability.

(we can run almost any date if you have a group of 4 or more)

Come along to Studio E2  where you'll be able to make a silver spoon using traditional techniques, such as hammering, filing and polishing. You will be following the traditional technique of forging a spoon from a silver ingot and will have the choice of giving it a hammered, polished or satin finish.

At the end of the day you will have your very own silver tea spoon to take away and use.

The price for the whole day is £75 plus materials (approx. £26).

This course is suitable for all skill levels and anyone over the age of 12 (with a parent) or 16 as an individual. There is no upper age limit and the course is designed to suit both men and women.

You can choose to either make a piece of jewellery from one of the set projects, or you can bring along a design of your own.
